The Franciscan Crown (or “Seraphic”) Rosary

Of course, right when I think I have all the mysteries of the rosary down pat, God throws this in my path!

In all seriousness, though, I am in love with the Franciscan Crown Rosary. It’s very easy to memorize the prayers, mysteries, and order of everything. I had a hard time finding tutorials on how to pray it, though, so after lots of searching, I made my own little infographic on how to pray it!

It is a bit tricky to wrap your head around if you’re used to the regular rosary; you do the tail portion last. Other than that, it’s basically the same.

You meditate on the seven Joys of Mary in place of the mysteries, and of course, you have seven decades instead of five. The only prayers you need for this are the Hail Mary and the Our Father!

So yeah, that’s basically it! Have fun with this awesome devotion, and let me know if you have any questions/corrections!

God bless! 🙂
